Frédérique Constant

Frédérique Constant is a famous luxury Swiss watch manufacturer created in 1988 in the canton of Geneva. In its present form, the company was set up by Aletta Bax and Peter Stas. They launched their first collection in 1992, containing six models based on Swiss movements and assembled by watchmakers in Geneva. The brand was involved in all stages of development from initial design to final assembly. This philosophy and love of watchmaking and precision means that their products have a spirit and are all emblematic of the brand.

Geneva's watchmaking heritage

Since the beginning of the 18th century, Geneva has been known as one of the most important centers of innovation and production of high quality mechanical watches. Since those days, the watchmakers of Geneva and the Jura have reached unrivalled summits in the art of fine watchmaking.

The FrederiqueConstant Manufacture

Frederique Constant has a new design and production center of 3200 square meters, spread over four floors, offering an attractive working environment for the production of components, for the assembly of movements and for intensive quality control. Latest generation CNC machines are installed in a large production workshop in the basement, where all component manufacturing is concentrated. The assembly of calibers and watches, as well as state-of-the-art quality control, are mainly organized on the second floor of the new building, which is also the international headquarters of the brand.
Their new building therefore offers a healthy and ideal working environment to work in excellent conditions, remain creative and face the years to come with serenity. We are convinced that this brand will continue to make a lot of noise in the years to come and produce watches that will inspire the next generation of lovers of mechanical watches and fine horology.

Innovation and tradition

In 1994, the brand launched its first watch, the "Heart Beat", one of the main innovations of which is to highlight the beauty of the mechanism by putting a window. This idea was so appreciated that it was quickly taken up by many other watch manufacturers. The window of the "Heart Beat" allows you to see the mechanisms of the watch and to wonder, still in our year, at the genius of mechanical watches and the creativity of the watchmakers of the past.

Accessible luxury!

If the brand enjoys great notoriety today, it is perhaps due above all to the fact that they were among the first to offer luxury and quality objects to a more diverse clientele. It is possible by buying a Frederique Constant watch, to get a high quality watch at a very interesting price.
This philosophy of offering luxury watches at low prices makes us appreciate this brand very much. It shares the basic principles of Sovogue which are: Luxury and quality for everyone at low prices.

The origins of Frédérique Constant

Historically, maque was founded in 1904 by Frederique Schreiner and Constant Stas. The name of the company therefore refers to the names of its two historical founders.
One of the current directors, Peter Stas, is the descendant of Mr. Constant Stas. Although four generations separate them, the passion for fine watchmaking remains the same.
